I have a problem installing 2D-Software. My computer operates with windows vista and internet explorer 7, but when I install the software I have an error because the software does not detect internet explorer 3.01 or later. How can I run 2D-software with windows vista?

Hi,
I think you have problems to start the program 'Autorun.exe' located onto the CD and not of the 2D software itself. This is a well known bug under the operating system Windows Vista and will be fixed from us, in newer 'Autrun.exe' versions.
You have also the possibility to start the setup located onto the CD manually
1.) Insert the 2D CD
2.) Open Windows Explorer
3.) Double-click on 'D:\Race-Software\SetUp.exe' (assumed C:\ is the drive letter of your current operating system)
4.) The installation will be done automatically by the setup-wizard. Confirm the following steps (in most cases with

In case you need a new CD with a functional 'Autorun.exe', please contact the 2D support. Then you can use the Front-end onto the CD without any problems.

Thanks for your help.
I have followed your steps, but continuing with the error.

I have looked in the support section and I have saw "Race2008.2" (Software Service Packs). If I install this update, will I solve the problems?. Otherwise, what update should I install?

You do not need to install an update.
As my colleague wrote, the only problem you have, is that the program AUTORUN.EXE from your cd is not working under Vista.
But it is still possible to install the software.
To do this do the following steps:

Insert the cd
click away the error message with Internet Explorter 3.01
start a Windows Explorer
navigate to the subdirectory "Race_Software" located on the CD
start the program SetUp.exe from that directory

If you still have problems send us an email and we will send you a newer cd, which runs under Vista without problems.

I had to install the software by rightclick -> â€œopen as administratorâ€ If you donâ€™t do that youâ€™ve got right problems during the installation â€¦
