Take a break from the rat-race. Beautiful beaches and endless sun...come enjoy the island life. Gen Dou Bilingual Kindergarten and Buxiban in Magong City is seeking a couple, to start as Foreign English Teachers in late September. The school environment is friendly and welcoming with great staff and students. There are currently 4 Taiwanese English teachers and three foreign teachers (two will be replaced).

The position details:
JOB 1 - 22.5 hours per week / NT$550 per hour
JOB 2 - 17.5 hours per week / NT$550 per hour
1 year contract
ARC provided
No required office hours
Working hours are between M-F 2pm-8.30pm
Basic accommodation can be provided on school premises - most teachers opt to live elsewhere

Teachers are required to have:
a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
a passport from either US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa
experience working with young people
a professional attitude and open mind

The school is located in the small seaside city of Magong, in Penghu. Magong is the largest city in the Penghu archipelago and you can find everything you need here. The locals are relaxed and friendly and it's a great place to immerse yourself in Taiwanese culture and language. Not only are Penghu's pristine beaches and rocky coasts fit for snorkeling, windsurfing, fishing, diving and more, it has scores of beautiful islands for you to visit and the cost of living is very low.
