How Can I Scan Document Into Microsoft Word 2003 and Have It look the Same as Original?

Abbyy Finereader can convert jpeg pictures into text file word documents.

It will keep most of the original layout.

Omnipage is another software similar to Abbyy

Why do you want to pay If you can get this for free?

PDF to RTF or WORD documents free PDF to RTF and Word conversions

For other formates you can try Media convert. They also convert flash movies, AVI, MPEG etc. Media convert

You can use Open Office to edit PDF documents directly.

Open Office is the open source version of MS word. It is free and can do all the things you'll ever need.

For PDF open Open Office first. In the menu click open file and click on the PDF file you want to edit.

You can import MS Word documents as well.
