My hands Speech for a kindergarten speech contest.
the first speech is easier only 2 minutes and 45 seconds My hands My hands
I have two hands. One left hand and one right hand.
There are five fingers on each hand. Five fingers on my left hand and five fingers on my right hand. I have ten fingers all together. Look! I can wiggle my fingers. My fingers can do many things. My fingers have names, too. We call them Thumb, Index finger, Middle finger, ring finger and little finger.
This is my thumb. My thumb is very strong. It's my strongest finger. See! It even can lift a chair. My thumb can turn. Only my thumb can do that.
I could not grab things without my thumb.
This is my index finger. I call him the pointer because I can point with it. Sometimes my teacher points at me. OH No! I don't like this very much. It makes me feel bad. My mom always says,” don't point at people. It makes them feel bad.” I guess my mom is right.
Next is my middle finger. The middle finger is the longest finger I have.
This is my ring finger. When I grow up I want to get married. I will wear my wedding ring on this finger. I can't wait to get married. Then I will have a car like my dad and I can use all my fingers to hold the steering wheel. I think this looks so cool.
The last finger in row is my little finger or PINKY!!!
My pinky is the cutest finger I have. I don't know what my pinky is for. But I like my Pinky very much. It is so cute. What would my hands be without the pinky?
Thank you very much for listening.

My hands
I have two hands. One on my left side and one right side.
There are five fingers on each hand. Five fingers on my left hand and five fingers on my right hand. Five and five equals 10. Wow! I have ten fingers all together. Look! I can wiggle my fingers. My fingers can do many things. My fingers have names, too. We call them Thumb, Index finger, Middle finger, ring finger and little finger.
This is my thumb. My thumb is very big and strong. It's the biggest and strongest finger I have. My thumb can lift very heavy things. See! It can even lift a chair. My thumb can turn 90 degrees. Only my thumb can do that.
If I did not have my thumb it would be very difficult to grab things.
This is my index finger. I call him the pointer because I can point with it. Sometimes my teacher points at me. OH No! I don't like this very much. It makes me feel bad. My mom always says,” Don't point at people. It makes them feel bad”. I guess my mom is right.
Next is my middle finger. The middle finger is the longest finger I have. Let's not talk about this finger right now.
This is my ring finger. When I grow up I want to get married. I will wear my wedding ring on this finger for the rest of my live. That's why we call it the ring finger. I can't wait to get married. Then I will have a car like my dad and I can use all my fingers to hold the steering wheel. “brrrmmm” I think this looks so cool.
The last finger in row is my little finger or PINKY!
My pinky is the cutest and smallest finger I have. I can't think of anything it is used for. But I like my Pinky very much. It is so cute and what would my hands be without the pinky.
Thank you very much for listening.
