Shadows
Risen is the one, that slept so long, Risen, from deep caves he has come. In the last sunshine he stands unknown and upright, Crushing with one hand the moon of the night.
Into the noise of busy cities it falls, A creepy shadow going through all of the walls. In the distance a bell’s ringing once, Warning mothers to take care of their sons.
On top of the mountains he shouts out loud: “Warriors, no fear - no doubt!” And thousands of skulls hanging down from him, Covering even his bony, dark skin.
Like a tower he stamps out the last fire, being ready to fulfil his one desire. And where the day has gone to dark, The earth is already flooded with blood.
A red dog he hunts into the forests deep, Ignoring the peoples’ grief and weep. Out of darkness the fire rose in spite, illuminating horror and death of the night.
Days and days they now have fought, Soldiers are crying out for the Lord. The houses are burning and there is no rain driving people even more insane.
The war is over- the people are dead. The blood on which the monster has fed, Is floating on earth and colouring it red- Left Is a rising sun, Climbing broken trees, Where son killed son, And where no one believes, That future will bring a change.

et me rest in peace, let me get some sleep. Let me take my love and bury it in a hole six-foot deep. I can lay my body down But I can't find my sweet release. So let me rest in peace.
