We talked a lot about holidaydestinations in other threads and now I want to now which type of vacation you like more!

Do you prefer all-inclusive-holidays or rather backbag-tours?? And why?

I like to see everything if I can! There are so many different aspects of each place that you can visit that it really doesn't do it justice if you only spend time in one area. That'd be like coming to Winnipeg and visiting The Forks but not visiting the Steinbach Pioneer Museum...

But why did you choose all inclusive if you want to see everything?? (I know that you have chosen it, because there are only 2 votes...) All inclusive means that your are in a hotel/club and you can use and consume everything in this hotel area. That means, all food, drinks, sports, swimming pool.... Áre you sure you didn´t klick the wrong one??

For me: I love several kinds of holidays, but the best one is city-sithseeing. The city I most liked was Rome, but London and Munich were very nice. Lissabon would be a city I´d like to see in the near future.

But exept of sightseeing I like holidays on a beach very much too. My favourites are Portugal, Greece and Croatia. I have been plenty of times to Italy too, and the atmosphere especially in evenings is very beautiful too, but the water isn´t as clean...

Don´t you use this term "all inclusive" for that vacation I described??

Because in German-speaking countries we even use exactly this English word for that!

Probably it´s my fault, but I have already said that in Austria we use exactly this word!

To which countries or destinations have you been up to now??

I have been on holiday in following countries: Italy, Portugal, France, Greece, Germany, Switzerland, England, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, U.S.,... I think that´s all! Of course I travelled through some other countries too, or I just saw their airports, but I can´t really count them...

Destinations I´d like to go to in the near future: Island, Paris, Zürich, Lissabon, Canada...

Well let's see....I have been to the US and obviously Canada cause i live here...

Ummm....going to: Greece and Sweden

Would like to go to: Spain, Ireland, England, South Africe, Guatemala, Isreal...basically to make the list short...any place in the world that i have great friends like y'all (except i don't know anyone in spain or england.)
