Do you like going to cinema??

Probably there are other movies now in your cinemas than in ours - I´m just interested what are your cinemas playing at the moment?

In ours just started a movie called "The Perfume" and it´s a literary filming of a book of Patrick Süskind. There is a big excitement about it, but I didn´t watch it up to know (well it plays since yesterday  )

I love going to the cinema!! My friends and I always meet at Silver City at Polo Park Mall (cuz it's closest to everyone) and it's like our default hang-out spot.  Like, a typical conversation about planning something is:

"Hey, what do you wanna do this weekend?"

"Let's go to a movie."

"...k"

seriously!  Actually, it's rather sad and pathetic that those are the main words in my friends' vocabulary... but hey...

Yesterday I was in the cinema and I watched this "Perfume", but it wasn´t so good as everybody says! I was quite disappointed...

I want to see Happy Feet when it comes out! It's about all these penguins... anyway Robin Williams and Elijah Wood are in it... so it has to be good!

I guess it will take some time until these movies, which you are speaking of, will be in Austrian cinemas!

Just wondering, do they use subtitles or dubbing in North American/British movies when they come to Austria?  We hardly get any foreign films over here (unless they're already in English) and it's quite sad...

No, our American/British movies are all translated and synchronized! Every English-speaking movie-star has his own German-voice! No subtitles!

Awesome! I love dubbing! Isn't it weird when the mouths don't match up with the words though?

But they are all (mostly) very well made, so you often don´t even recognize it!

I had to watch a movie in my french class it was Mean Girls and it was to be watched in french and it was so extremly obvious that they used dubbing or whatever it is called.
