You don´t have any marching bands?? Don´t you take part with your bands in parades or anything like that??

wow! I couldn´t imagine without marching... I mean my band isn´t marching like Masa`s, we just do "normal" street marching, but it´s always lots of fun. The best thing is always on 1st may! There we are marching from about 7 am to 12 through my village and we stop at every house where somebody has prepared some drinks or something to eat. It´s very exausting, but we all like it very much....

That's really cool!  We've never had marching classes, just sitting down in curved rows so we can all see the conductor. ALL of my band classes are like that (except for jazz band, those are straight rows)...

I remember for Youth Group we went carolling (this was like, two weeks ago) and we went around to people's houses on my street, since I live very close to the church, and everyone was so confused... we handed out candy too... someone offered us hot chocolate at one time, it was great!

"carolling": is that something like going around and singing christmas-songs?

You betcha!  Of course you could see why some people thought it was a bit strange to be doing that at the beginning of November... but hey, we did the same thing in March too!

The first time I was listening to Christmas-songs this year was in August I guess... - I do have some Christmas-CDs with "rocking" and leg-pull´s version. I really love them...
