If ANYONE knows of any good universities with a decent music program PLEASE tell me about it, I'm currently looking for universities to audition for and possibly attend.  I don't care whether it's in Canada, the United States, or Europe.  Send me ANY university names with a good music program and if you have any other info on them as well, that'd be great!!

I've heard of one in Amsterdam, does anyone have info on this particular one?

Give me info ASAP.

I can only tell you something about Music Universities in Austria! There are 3 big ones, one in Salzburg, one in Vienna and one in Graz. I don´t know which one is the best,...

Here some links:

www.moz.ac.at             of Salzburg

www.mdw.ac.at            of Vienna

www.kug.ac.at              of Graz

Let's see ... University of Indiana is a biiig music school .. lots of great people.  University of Illinois as well ... and University of North Texas ... those three are the most prominent of the state universities in the US.  Of course you're aware of a bunch of private schools like Oberlin Conservatory and Eastman College and then of course Julliard and all .. but I dunno what you're interested in

You should definitely come to the states .. that would be tight

haha... It's sad but true, the difference being that I have been to Europe but not to the Southern States... except for Florida when I was 6.  Actually, Masa, I wasn't aware of any of the schools you mentioned except for Julliard, so keep 'em coming!  Thanks for all your help though, I really need to pick something soon.

Perhaps you should order some info-folders - could be very helpful....

So far I have two brochures... one for Brandon University and one for Dordt College.  Brandon's about two and a half hours from Winnipeg and Dordt's in Iowa... I'm going to order more brochures though!!

Brochures are always a good thing! And perhaps you can go to some "open days" of universities which aren´t too far away - just to get some impressions!

Yep! I've gone to Brandon University's Open House in November, which was fun and very informative... I know I'm NOT going to the U of Manitoba because its performance music program is
