1. Important - country assignments

We have about 1400 delegates signed up and paid expected to attend the
conference. Our current design can only support 1100 delegates and we are
currently discussing with the host team ways to accommodate the new size of
the committees. This may take up to two weeks to be completed and we
strongly apologize for the delay. When planning for this conference, we
expected this to be a smaller conference than in previous years due to the
distance from Europe/US, where most of our delegates usually come from, but
we were proved wrong and we believe it would be unfair to turn away
delegates that registered and paid on time. In addition, we do not want to
have overcrowded committees because we believe that this would take away
from your experience.

One of the solutions we are considering is the addition of 2 new committees.
If this ends up happening, you will maintain your current country
assignment, if you already have one.

All of our energy is focused on solving this issue as soon as possible and
we will communicate any updates as they become available. Rest assured that
we will not turn away any teams from the conference. All this means is that
you can expect an absolutely amazing conference with teams coming from even
more countries than we had last year.

2. Post conference trip and social events

For post conference trip and social events, we are just waiting for final
confirmation from the host team to start selling the tickets. Tickets for
the trips and social events will be sold online through our website.

Tickets for the post conference trip must be purchased in advance because of
the difficulty in buying last minute return Beijing - Shanghai train
tickets.

Tickets for the social events can be purchased at any time.

sag mal monty, betrifft das auch unsere deligation? und wenn ja, wann bekommt man denn mit, dass man in ein neues com. kommt?
