At the Sunday Vital Vertigo: Fables Panel, series creator & writer Bill Willingham announced that a future issue of Fables will be inspired by the fans itself. The as-yet unscheduled issue will be titled "The Burning Question", and will act as a Fables anthology instigated by questions fans have for the book itself. Questions about the whereabouts of certain characters, or any unsolved mysteries will be looked at to fill the issue. In the near future, fans will be able to submit their questions through DCComics.com or Fabletown.com on what questions they have for the series. The chosen questions will be answered in short stories ranging from one to three pages. The chosen questions will show the questioneer's name with the story. If the stunt goes well, Willingham promised it will be a regular staple every few years to the book.
