The Northlanders

"The Brian Wood-penned Northlanders was the first comic featured in the slideshow presentation, with Berger calling it a 'hipster viking' story. When prompted for comics, Wood joked, 'I spent like an hour talking about this at my own panel, so if you wanted to know, you should have been there.' He elaborated on it by saying, 'This seems like a departure for me, and maybe for Vertigo, but it's really not,' and that it's 'his kind of book' despite taking place 1,000 years in the past."
