I was waiting in line at the Marvel booth to get a sketch by Rob Liefeld on Sunday, and was the last person in line. They had closed off everything behind me and I was waiting for him to finish what he was working on, and Jeph Loeb was doing page breakdowns next to him. They kept talking about comic related things every few seconds and then started getting into a conversation, presumably forgetting I was there. Loeb told Liefeld how Millar would be done working at Marvel after he finished his next project and things like that.

Then they started talking about Skrulls. This is when they really started whispering and leaning in close when they talked. I was the only one within ten feet of the two of them, and Loeb leaned in and said that...

Liefeld responded, then glanced up and saw me staring at them. They both kind of perked up and asked what I was doing? I told them I was just waiting for a sketch and was the last person in line. Loeb just looked back down at his notes and started writing.

I don't know if this is true, and it probably isn't. But they really didn't know I was listening to them until after it was said. Take that however you want.
