We have more than ten years of crane service experience in Pakistan. Relying on excellent product quality and service, it has won the recognition of many customers. As a Chinese crane supplier serving the world, when we receive a customer’s inquiries about cranes, the first thing we have to solve is how to help customers recognize what kind of crane they need. Today we share a case of an overhead crane from Pakistan.

Requirements for cranes from Pakistani customers
In the customer’s initial inquiry, the customer stated that they wanted to purchase a 10-ton single-girder overhead crane. We sent the quotation to the customer that night, in order to facilitate the customer to understand our products, at the same time we sent our product catalog to the customer. When they found that we could provide electric chain hoists, they decided to buy a 2 tons electric chain hoist with a lifting height of 4 meters in order to test the quality of our products. Then we sent the price and drawings of the 2 ton electric chain hoist to the customer.

After the price quotation, our client asked us first question, based on we are the brand new supplier to them, so they are worried how we to secure them the business safety. After the discussions with our manager, our manager directly agreed to process the payment term 50% TT deposit and final 50% TT against the draft bill of loading after shipment. Our client is very satisfied with our response and issue us the order immediately. After we get the payment, we arranged the production; 5 days later we sent Pakistan’s customers the production pictures and they are satisfied. Then we arranged the shipment. After we get the original bill of loading, we sent them the scan copy for the balance payment.

Pakistan customer purchases 10 ton single beam overhead crane
Four months later, the Pakistani customer contacted us and said that the electric chain hoist was in good condition. They decided to purchase a single beam overhead crane, but the lifting capacity was changed from 10 tons to 6 tons.

Then we sent our client the completely offer including below:

– Completely single girder overhead crane

– Traveling rail system including the rail, platen & clamp ( used to fix the rail), current collector & bus bar (used for power)

– Supporting column, traveling bearing beam and sideway supporting

– Shipment cost

– Installations and commissioning

Here we explained to our Pakistan client that the gantry crane cost is cheaper than the overhead crane with supporting structural, but the gantry crane will take much working spaces than overhead crane. After the full considerations, our client chose the solution of crane + columns + installation.

Considering this is our second time cooperation and they are happy with our crane and hoist quality and service. So this time they directly agree to follow our payment 50% TT deposit and final 50% TT before the shipment. After 25 working days, we sent our client below production pictures for balance payment.
