I am making a couple of assumptions that 1. The Rheem electric tank is in fact a Rheem electric water heater, and 2. The appliance has been properly installed by and inspected and passed by professionals, and 3. has been properly maintained. If it is off, the switch is located in the main electrical panel and should be a circuit breaker (or possibly a fuse) clearly marked “water heater”.
