Manchmal sollte man genauer nachrechnen, bevor man einen Beitrag absetzt.
Ich habe es diesmal leider erst danach getan - entschuldigt bitte!
ChessOwls - Intercontinental
(Frank Hoffmann, Itamar Oren, Prof.Dr.Warner Bruce Kover, Devangshu Datta)
Das Team wird auch in der nächsten Saison in der C-Klasse spielen können. Zum Klassenerhalt genügt der 9. Platz. Derzeit hat das Team 15 Punkte und drei laufende Partien. Weder Knight Fighters 13,5 (1) noch Magic4 11 (2) können diese Punktzahl noch erreichen.
ChessOwls - SmartView
(Hermann Karg, Prof.Dr.Wilhelm Brinkmann, Dr.Thomas Reichert, Michael Heinsohn)
Dieses Team hat den Aufstieg in die B-Klasse sicher!!
Die Tabellenspitze lautet hier: SmartView 26 (2) vor Brazilian Chessfriends 24,5 (1) und Swiss64 22,5 (4).
Der Gruppensieg sollte mit größter Wahrscheinlichkeit ebenfalls an unser Team gehen, allerdings hat Swiss 64 noch eine rechnerische Möglichkeit auf den Ersten Platz.

Team Überblick IV - Team Overview IV
Seit dem letzten Überblick haben sich einige Dinge entschieden:
Since the latest Overview we´ve got some new decisions:
Queens sind derzeit auf dem dritten Platz ihrer Gruppe und spielen nächste Saison in Gruppe C.
Queens are on third place now and will remain playing C-League.
White Knights sind derzeit auf dem vierten Platz ihrer Gruppe. Das Team wird aufgelöst. Die Spieler können in der kommenden Saison in neuen Teams antreten, sofern sie das möchten.
White Knights are 4th. Therefore we will built a new guest team for the next season. The players from "White Knights" may play in other chessowls teams, if they want to do so.
Black Knights werden aufgelöst - Black Knights team will be cancelled.
Dragons werden in der kommenden Saison als Members-only team in der C-Liga antreten.
Dragons will play in C-League next season as a members-only team.
Zwei Entscheidungen sind noch nicht gefallen:
Two decisions remain open:
Intercontinental hat beste Chancen die C-Klasse zu erhalten.
Intercontinental have very good chances for remaining in C-League.
Und das Wichtigste:
Alles sieht derzeit nach einem Aufstieg für Smart View aus.

Team Überblick III - Team Overview III
Liebe Freunde - Dear friends,
heute zum dritten Teil des Überblicks über unsere Mannschaften:
today part three from the team overview:
C1:
Die "Queens" stehen zwar noch auf dem zweiten Platz, die noch laufende Partie gegen Porto steht jedoch deutlich auf Verlust. Zudem spielt Porto noch 4 weitere Partien und benötigt aus diesen 4 Partien nur noch 1/2 Punkt.
The "Queens" are still on second place, but the only running game with Porto will be lost and Porto has still 4 more games to get the necessary half point.
C3:
"Intercontinental" ist derzeit Punktgleich (13,5) mit "Knight Fighters" hat aber alle Vorteile auf seiner Seite. Bei noch 6 offenen Partien, gegenüber 2 und einem 3:1 im direkten Vergleich, sieht es derzeit gut aus. Auch die Teams von "Chessknight Tango" und "Dutchess" sind mit je 15,5 in Reichweite.
With 13,5 points our "Intercontinental" team is even with "Knight Fighters", but has won with 3:1 against this team. Our team has 6 unfinished games, against 2 from the "Fighters". The dutch teams "Chessknight Tango" and "Dutchess" have 15,5 points and are in reach, too.
C4:
Hier hat inzwischen das "Smart View" Team die Führung übernommen. Die Chancen auf den Aufstieg stehen sehr gut. Neben dem zweiten "Brazilian Chessfriends" dürfte "Swiss 64" mit noch 9 unbeendeten Partien der härteste Konkurrent sein.

D:

Eingeschränkte Erreichbarkeit des TC wg. Providerwechsels
Hallo,
ich bin in der nächsten Zeit möglicherweise schlecht oder nicht erreichbar, da ich meinen Internet- und Telefonanbieter wechseln werde.
Weg von T-Offline: Der Internetzugang war in der letzten Zeit oftmals sehr langsam. Und ist ![]("http://file1.carookee.com/img/smileys/2_10.gif") zudem ausgesprochen teuer.
Also bitte nicht ärgern, wenn ich nur sehr spät oder auch erst einmal nicht antworte.

Re: Fortschritt??
Wie den meisten hier bekannt sein dürfte, habe ich schon seit längerem keine ICCF Turniere mehr gespielt und fühle mich deshalb sicherlich nicht unbedingt zu einem Kommentar zum Thema berufen, aber meinetwegen...
Als ich meine letzten Turniere spielte war die Zeit von Fritz 6 und dem ersten Deep Shredder.
Ich legte mir damals einen PC mit zwei Prozessoren zu (PIII 1000 Dual), der ja - wie ich zu meiner Freude lesen durfte - bei Lothar immer noch seinen Dienst verrichtet.
Ich spielte damals WM-Semifinale und ein paar Gedenkturniere. Obwohl diese Ausstattung für heutige Verhältnisse recht armselig scheint, war sie für die damalige Zeit auf dem neuesten Stand. Ich erzielte damals die Normen für IM und SIM und qualifizierte mich für das Kandidatenturnier.
Damals waren die Fortschritte von einem AMD 450 auf einen PIII 1000 Dual Quantensprünge. Ob heute der Sprung von einem Dual auf einen Quad ähnlich groß ist glaube ich eher nicht...
Dennoch muß das Paket natürlich stimmen.
Hardware im normalen Maßstab ist zumindest ein Dual mit 2.66 MHz. Zur Software würde ich mich Lothars Meinung anschließen (Partiensammlung - Neuste Theorie - Tablebases).
Nach wie vor ist aber eine Menge Heimarbeit vor den Turnieren erforderlich.
Vor allem die Eröffnungsvorbereitung ist hier gar nicht zu überschätzen.

Hallo Wilhelm und Michael,
ich bin da etwas bescheidener :-).
Ziel muß der Aufstieg sein, ob als Erster oder Zweiter ist mir relativ gleichgültig.
Ich wäre aber der Letzte, der gegen den ersten Platz etwas einzuwenden hätte.
Diese Gruppe ist eben sehr, sehr eng beieinander.
Habt ihr alle die Email Adressen des Teams, oder soll ich sie nochmal mailen?

Hallo Thomas,
ich habe auch schon daran gedacht.
Deshalb werde ich demnächst zwei Dinge machen:
1. Einen Überblick über die Lage der Teams erstellen (beendete Partien!)
[Hier im Forum]
2. Ein Formular für die Einschätzung der offenen Partien zumailen.
Ich denke ein solcher Überblick sollte per Mail erfolgen. Das Forum ist auch für Gäste einsehbar.
Es könnte also möglich sein, dass hier auch jemand aus einer gegnerischen Mannschaft mitliest.

Ich habe auch ein wenig herumanalysiert und kam auch zu ähnlichen Varianten.
Einen Gewinn sehe ich nicht für Schwarz.
Somit sieht es erst einmal nach Remis aus.

Hallo,
vom 27.06.-29.06. ist unser diesjähriges Treffen.
Erstmals nicht mehr in Bad Rodach, sondern in Hof (Bachstrasse 10).
Während des Treffens werden viele Mitglieder nicht unter ihrer Mailadresse erreichbar sein.

it looks like no one is in contact with him.
Ive got only two mails from members who told me to throw him out.
But this won´t be a solution.
I´ve seen now that Bostjan is still playing.
But you all can be sure, that he won´t play in one of our teams next season.

es scheint, dass niemand Kontakt zu ihm hat.
Ich habe lediglich zwei Emails bekommen in denen mir geraten wurde ihn aus dem Team zu nehmen.
Aber das ist keine Lösung.
Inzwischen habe ich festgestellt, dass Bostjan noch (wieder?) spielt.
Ihr könnt aber versichert sein, dass er in der kommenden Saison keinen Platz in einem unserer Teams mehr finden wird.
