Ja, es gibt B. echinosepala var. echinosepala und B. echinosepala var. elongatifolia. Ich füge einen Screenshot hierzu aus der International Database of the Begoniaceae (IDB) bei.
Mark C. Tebbitt schreibt in seinem Buch "Begonias" (S. 119): "When not in flower (B. dietrichiana) is easily confused with another commonly cultivated Brazilian species, B. echinosepala. Nonetheless, when in flower the two are instantly told apart since B. dietrichiana has hairless tepals, and those of B. echinosepala have short spiky hairs on their outer surfaces. Besides the typical variety, B. echinosepala var. elongatifolia is commonly grown. It has much narrower leaf blades that are about 1.5-2cm wide compared to the 2-4cm of B. echinosepala var. echinosepala."
