I don't think I need it, my friends think online games are "crap". xD And I already have lots of spywares so I don't want to risk it and crash my computer. xD

Thanks for the Anti-Spyware computer genius! (As usual) I am testing it and scanning my computer, I hope it detects some awful spywares that make my computer go slow.... Go, go Spybot!

Last time I have deleted many programs that I didn't use. Including RPG Maker 2003 I deleted as much as I could and my computer is still slow, from when I started downloading Bleach episodes from Bleach portal, my computer went slower everyday...and I realised that when my computer was ultra slow, so I stopped downloading the Bleach episodes... I tried scanning with "Spyware Doctor" and it detected about 150 Spywares, but you have to pay to delete the little pests, I also searched for rogues (Programs, like AD-aware spyware that give you false information to make you buy the program), and it detected none. My computer is so slow, but when I reset my computer about 3 times, it's as fast as it was in the past. I just don't really understand that at all...

Here comes lots of text I think I know what you can do. If you have english version of Win XP professional, go start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Defragmenter. Use drives what you want to defragment (means that program will place in order fragments of files) -> You can press Analyze -> Defragment... or just Defragment. It will take some time (may be hours). It's best if you dont download or install anything in this time.. and better if you dont use computer at all . As I remember in Home Edition of Windows XP you cant do that. Btw, it's good to do defragmenation sometimes, but not very often(I think one time in few months is the best). Because: this is not good for your Hard Drive reader. It's not good if you left it undone, too. P.S. You can find plenty of help in the internet about Defragmentation. If you dont understood something, You can ask me xD P.P.S LadyLydia, have you installed Spybot: Search & Deastroy ? If you are looking for good antivirus and background protection, you can try Avast! on it howmepage you can find FREE Home Edition. I cant say it's bad, because me and my school are using it. P.P.P.S We should change topic name to " Computer problems and solutions " xD Hmm.. is it possible to move some of messages to other topic ?

Thanks again Hlymzik, and yup, the administrators can move the posts to different topics. I'll try out the Defragmentation and see how it works. P.S - What does defragmentation mean? xD

ehmm.. how it works ? I wont explain by myself, but I'll copy from Wikipedia: The purpose of Windows Disk Defragmenter is to optimize the time it takes to read and write files to/from the disk by minimizing head travel time and maximizing the transfer rate. The used techniques include: - Moving all the index or directory information to one spot. Moving this spot into the center of the data, i.e. one third of the way in, so that head travel to data is halved compared to having directory information at the front.
- Clustering files around the directory area.
- Moving infrequently used files further from the directory area.
- Obeying a user provided table of file descriptions to emphasize or ignore.
- Making files contiguous so that they can be read without unnecessary seeking.
