Der Tag, an dem die Erde...
Right. Seems the problem with the Unread-tags has been solved.
Now we only need some posts; unfortunately I'm moving home and have still one paper to hand in, and I gotta work night-shift for a week or two, so I won't have too much time on my hands.
(Feeling a bit guilty for not having worked on Fawlty's tower table)

I dispute the claim that it's sorting itself out!

Some days ago I was astonished to find ALL the topics marked as 'unread'. Despite the lack of ANY new topics.

Now some topics are marked as unread, and others aren't. There is no correllation that I can see between reality and confusion.

And for some reason, the "reply" button for this post has transmuted into German - not a big problem, I grant ye, but odd all the same.

I suggest we rename this from the TOB forum to the Krankenforum.

Yeah, well... the "too much" was only to temporarily offset the past "not enough" - it all balances out in the end, I guess.

On a side issue, I've just received a newsletter from Carookee. Very nice of them, but I haven't a clue what it says...

Michael Jackson's This I...
At least we finally know the reason for the german reply-button:
All buttons (Oops! No, not all of them. The ones one the "Write Reply" page are still the plain old english ones...) can be customized by the forum admin now, and obviously they chose to pick german buttons as the default, since carookee is a german company.
So who's volunteering for designing a set of pretty ToB theme buttons for us?!?

Possibly based on the original buttons (Fire/Write/Stop-In/Run-Out etc)?

Has anyone ever tried the other styles of button (not possible unless you have the 'full' game disk, of course)? The neon ones are cool but do hurt your eyes after a while!

Anyhow. Let's stay on topic for a while longer. I'm pleased to see that the forum appears to have stabilised for the nonce. Let us hope it remains so!

Artinum.
