Hi all!

There is an issue i worked on. There is a loyal fan who insulted our
beloved watcher ;-)

He said: "The watchers are really bad in terms of looking..."

So I deleted Mayo´s old Texture (don´t beat me, master! no!!!!)
and created a new one for the watcher.

It´s not that colorful and more "realistic".... more the monochrome way.

You will see some pics of the old one (2)
and a few pics of the new one (6)

i hope you will like them...

mayo isn´t sure if he is going to include the texture with the sign on it or the same one WITHOUT the sign.

*** What do you think? ***

I´m very curious about your answers :-)

*lol* I haven't seen the watcher in the remake before. He looks like an owl...

The new texture is much better. The watcher in the original game still is much more cute, I must say. But that's not really important.

I have one request, though: Please make it a bit taller! Remember the watcher can be used as a shield against enemy zappers. It's not really convincing that a tiny object before your feet can protect you from an enemy looking right into your face...

Warcus: Oh, and by the way, you mixed up the titles 'Neuschwanstein' and 'Nymphenburg' on the 'bunte bilder' page, and there is a typo with 'auswendug' in the last paragraph of the 'blahblah' page....

It's hard to tell just from the screenshots. As I said, I haven't seen it in the game yet. I just had the impression that the watcher looked VERY small compared to the spiders.
I'll have a look at the latest remake version on the weekend.

I believe you can see some watchers in "Things That Go Zap In The Dark" (I believe this is tower 115, remarkably straightforward for such a late tower, but I could be wrong).

Yes, they do look rather small. And I rather liked the classic myself!

Australia
Well... yes, to be honest - the original watcher was so cute, especially when batting his eyes.
I also noticed the new worms and lizards having eyes, by the way. They look remarkably unamiable, don't they? But then I've always hated lizards...

Yesterday I've have checked the size of original watcher with size of the watcher created by Warcus, I've taken screenshots from both.

The watcher is very small, but now I'v resized it (150% taller) in my current version.
