POP star Brian McFadden was fighting to save his marriage last night after a string of rows with lonely wife Kerry.
The chart-topping singer flew home from a tour date for crisis talks with his I'm A Celebrity star missus.
Angry Kerry is fed up with not seeing her heart-throb husband because of his hectic touring schedule.
His career has taken off since he quit boy band Westlife in March and he hit No1 with first solo single Real To Me.
But that has meant he's hardly been at home with ex-Atomic Kitten star Kerry and their two children Molly, three, and Lilly Sue, one.
As tensions between the couple grew, frustrated Kerry took the children back to her mother's home to seek support.
Last night Brian admitted the marriage was in difficulty. Asked about the situation, he said: "It's not right...it's not right."
A source close to the couple told the News of the World: "They're going through a rocky patch, there's no doubt about that.
Tears
"She felt that after he quit Westlife he would be at home with her and the kids like one big happy family. That hasn't happened.
"Kerry has been left close to tears over the fact that Brian is never at home. She's a very emotional person — as everyone who saw her on I'm A Celebrity probably realised for themselves."
Yesterday Brian jetted back from a performance in Sweden to talk things through with 24-year-old Kerry.
A friend revealed: "Brian wants to sort this out and so does Kerry. They have things to talk about and are determined to patch up what is a very strong and loving marriage."
Kerry has already forgiven Brian for a drunken romp with lap-dancer Amy Barker on his stag night, before the couple wed in January 2002.
The couple's spokesman, PR guru Max Clifford, said last night: "Yes, there have been a few problems, but they are getting it together and talking it through over this weekend.
"I'm sure everything will be resolved."
