7x13 - Am offenen Herzen
Englischer Titel: I'd Rather Be In Philadelphia
Men in Trees
Inhalt:

Airdate: March/April 2007
02/14 - Just received a fresh batch of intel on Episode 18, and there's a pivotal scene at the end in which Luke and Lorelai both apologize for all that ugly stuff that led to their breakup. Best of all, Lorelai utters the words we've been longing to hear since last May. Although the heartfelt powwow doesn't include any physical contact (i.e., smooching, necking, petting, etc), it certainly paves the way for a possible May-sweeps reunion. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
02/10 - It's the annual Stars Hollow Spring Fling. Lorelai and Michel are busy welcoming new guests at the inn. Michel is irritated by the cheerfulness of the visitors. Rory is on a train back from Providence. April gives Luke a bracelet. Later, Lorelai, Logan, Rory and Michel, along with some tourists, go to Spring Fling in a bus rented by the Inn. At the event, some Inn guests are skeptical about a maze made out of hay. One kid is especially not that excited because no one will chase him or shoot him with water guns as he goes through the maze. Logan goes through the maze with the kid. Babette, Morey, and Taylor also appear. Source: SpoilerFix.com

7x17 - Gilmore Girls Only
Airdate: March 6, 2007
03/03 - After Rory has a fight with Logan, she decides to go to North Carolina with Lorelai for Mia's wedding, and Emily, who craves a break from needy Richard, decides to drive them so she can go to a nearby spa. Meanwhile, Zack and Lane, who's about to give birth soon, invite Luke to dinner, and Zack begins to lean on Luke for advice on being a father. Mia: Kathy Baker. Source: TV Guide Online
02/15 - Lorelai plans a road trip to North Carolina to attend the wedding of Mia (guest star Kathy Baker), the woman who took in Lorelai and Rory and served as a surrogate mother/grandmother for many years. Rory has a fight with Logan over his immature reaction to his business disaster, and agrees to go on the trip with Lorelai. Emily invites herself along in an effort to get away from Richard, who is driving her crazy while he recuperates at home. At the wedding, Emily is upset by the close relationship Mia shares with Lorelai and Rory. Lorelai learns that Emily came to see Mia five years earlier to ask for pictures of Lorelai and Rory during the years they were estranged. Logan makes a surprise appearance and asks Rory to forgive him. Meanwhile, Lane and Zach ask Luke to be the godfather to their twins. Finally, Lane goes into labor and Luke helps get everyone to the hospital. Sean Gunn also stars. Source: The CW
02/14 - Episode 17, "Gilmore Girls Only," is gonna more than live up to its title when Lorelai, Rory and Emily embark on a road trip to North Carolina to attend Mia's wedding. (Gratuitous exposition alert: Mia is the woman who served as a surrogate mother/grandmother to Lorelai and Rory. She's also the person who gave Lorelai her job at the Independence Inn. The role, originated by Elizabeth Franz back in Season 2, will now be played by Picket Fences' Kathy Baker.) This is also the episode when Lane finally pops out those ginormous twins. 02/14 - Some sources say the Gilmore women will soon go on a road trip of sorts. Source: SpoilerFix BuddyTV Spoilers Chat

General Spoilers
01/25 - You may have heard TV Guide's report that Alexis Bledel (Rory) does not want to continue Gilmore Girls and that the CW is moving forward with the idea of doing the show without her. Well, according to my sources—who are highly placed within the Gilmore family—the plan of a Roryless eighth season has been firmly rejected for one very good reason: Lauren Graham is sticking by her onscreen daughter (you gotta love that) and has made it clear that she will not continue the show without Alexis on board. So... will we get another season? Lauren and Alexis are making the decision as a team. If they both decide to partake in an eighth season, we'll get another year of Gilmore bliss. If not, this will be the final year of the show we so adore. Still, don't start saying your goodbyes just yet. The show's rep at the CW insists the report that Alexis does not want to continue with the show is "really just a rumor... I've never heard that from Alexis' people or any reliable source close to the production." Plus, there's another reason to hold out hope: I'm also told CW president Dawn Ostroff isn't ready to let Lorelai and Rory go—and is prepared to do "whatever it takes" to turn the show around creatively and keep it around another year. Source: Kristin on E!Online
01/24 - They're dealing with [Melissa McCarthy's pregnancy] by making Sookie pregnant for a third time. David Rosenthal is seriously considering ending the season (or series?) with Lorelai and Luke not only married but expecting a baby. The buzz in Stars Hollow is that the key to an eighth season may rest in Alexis Bledel's petite hands. Unlike Lauren Graham, who appears to be somewhat amenable to the idea of continuing on for another year, Bledel is proving a tougher sell. As a result, Warner Bros. and the CW are allegedly developing a Plan B that would focus an eighth season on Lorelai, Luke and their new baby, with the occasional sweeps-month guest appearance by Rory. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
01/24 - Lorelai will end her marriage with Chris. The latter won't be happy about it. Lorelai will stay single for a little while. Some people over at FanForum say that Luke will be quite impressed with Lorelai's letter and that it'll make him see that he was good enough for her. Source: SpoilerFix BuddyTV Spoilers Chat
11/15 - Rosenthal reveals: It's one thing to go off on this romantic weekend and get married; it's another thing to actually come back and deal with the reality of being married. Lorelai's never lived with anyone. They've never really lived together. This marriage puts a lot of pressure on them both. That's the big theme for the latter half of the season for Lorelai and Chris, and for Rory. She's facing graduation and her future, and she's always thought, "Oh, I'm going to be a journalist." Rory's going to open herself up to the possibility that there are other options out there for her. She's never really considered anything else; now she's willing to consider everything else. And there's the other issue of Logan being back in New York. There are opportunities that could pull her away from Logan. Suddenly, it's no longer a college relationship. It's two people out in the world, so the stakes become higher. [Logan's return] will kind of rev up their relationship in good and bad ways. We're going to see their relationship deepen and complicate in many ways. [Rory will not find herself torn between Marty and Logan.] Marty's feelings for Rory will really be the issue; it's not reciprocated. The man is still holding a torch. It's something he just can't seem to let go of, and it'll definitely cause problems. But there's nothing on Rory's end. It's not her thing — it's his thing. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
10/25 - Rosenthal reveals: Luke and Lorelai are right now on separate journeys, but they are by no means forever separated. They’re still very much a part of each other’s lives and will be in the future in significant and profound ways. Lorelai coming back with a husband— and not the husband they were expecting her to have — will have a profound impact on everybody. [Luke's reaction will happen on camera.] No one's going to die in Stars Hollow. Source: The Ausiello Report
09/28 - Rosenthal is working on securing a few famous names to guest on the show. At the top of his list? Director Brian De Palma — who’ll play himself. Source: Boston Metro
08/30 - Later in the season, Richard will face a medical crisis that show-runner Dave Rosenthal says will have a "profound impact" on the entire Gilmore clan. "Health issues can create stress and conflict and trauma in a family, but they can also bring the family together," he adds. "It's something that will affect not only Emily but Rory and Lorelai, too." Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
04/06/2005 - Amy Sherman-Palladino has already written the final scene of the show (which will be between Rory and Lorelai) even though it's not known when the series will end. She hopes to end the show with Rory's Yale graduation. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide [Note: It is unknown if the new writing team will keep this ending.]

7x13 - I'd Rather Be In Philadelphia
Airdate: February 6, 2007
01/21 - In the hospital waiting room, Lorelai, Rory and Emily anxiously await word on Richard's condition. When Logan hears what is happening, he borrows a helicopter to be by Rory's side, but Lorelai is unable to reach Christopher, who is still angry over their fight the night before. Upset by Emily's attempt to remain calm by dealing with her social calendar, Lorelai is relieved when Luke shows up unannounced and volunteers to run errands for Emily. Christopher finally arrives to be with Lorelai, but the scene at the hospital is more than he can take. Source: The CW
01/16 - [The death will not be Kirk or Paul Anka (the dog).] Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide [Note: Ausiello hinted that it would be an animal.]
12/20 - There will be a death around Episode 13, but not a serious one. In fact, it's kinda funny. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
12/20 - I'm about 99% sure Logan is at the hospital supporting Rory. Source: gossipcom @ TWoP
12/06 - The story plays out the same way, with Luke running errands for Emily and Chris throwing a pity party for himself. But it's my understanding that Lorelai's epiphany will be more gradual. The end result, of course, will be the same: Luke in, Christopher out. Speaking of Episode 13, in a Gilmore first, nearly the entire hour will take place in the hospital. I hear there's some great Lorelai/Emily stuff. It's about damn time. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
11/15 - Apparently, Luke and Christopher choose to deal with Richard's health crisis in very different ways: Luke chooses to run around helping Emily, while Christopher chooses to go off and sulk about a bad fight he had with Lorelai. Cue the inevitable Lorelai epiphany. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
11/08 - I hear Episode 13 marks a turning point in the Luke/Lorelai/Christopher triangle. And Richard's health crisis plays a critical role. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

Finally, Christopher finds the letter Lorelai wrote for Luke’s character reference and confronts Lorelai about whether he was her second choice. Source: The CW
01/16 - Rory returns to Yale after winter break and leaves Lucy a note apologizing for her deception, while Paris ambushes Rory with her master plan of things they need to accomplish in their last semester. Meanwhile, Luke and Anna appear before a judge in the custody case; Sookie asks Lorelai to babysit so she and Jackson can go skiing, but Sookie's behavior is mysteriously erratic; and Christopher makes a discovery that leaves him shaken.
