hi posterers,

been awhile since i checked your website but good i did- the new stuff is inspired. especially appreciate the Tears + Bombs poster, as well as the Save Camphill from last term. after catching sight of them out of the corner of your eye, they demand to be remembered. the drawing of the face in tears+bombs seems very honest, a picture wearing its heart on its sleeve. emotive, so it stays with you.
ive moved from aberdeen now, but put up some posters i have done (celebrating the "philosophy of slow" movement) + downloads of yours around the walls of my city. glad to see you havent lost the momentum over a long summer...

hey...

thank you for the uplifting comments!! :) we'll be around for another while, even though the website is not updated as often as last year. we all have more work this year, and as a result we neglect the website occasionnally as putting up actual posters around campus is the main thing...
we'll post some new posters in the course of this week, we have created and put up some 4 or 5 new ones since we last updated the website.

if you don't mind, we'd be interested in seeing your posters if you have an opportunity to scan them? if not, maybe you can copy them and send them in the mail... dunno. would be good to hear from you :) is our email...

have fun, whatever the city is you've moved to!
all the best,
abdn collective

hey!

have sent a couple of things to your hotmail address. The slow lane refers to a growing "Slow" Movement, a reaction against the present culture of speedy living, over-emphasis on work and financial "sucess". One of the best-known branches of this movement is Slow Food, which is promoting culinary culture and traditional foods at risk of extinction from the fast food market (www.slowfood.com).

Ive put up some copies of the "public space is our space" poster around Edinburgh... maybe a version of of your Be Creative leaflet could be made into a poster for people living outside Aberdeen, to explain the thought behind your project? you seem to have interest from people who have found your site on the net. this town has quite a big artistic community; i think the idea would go down well here. look forward to seeing your new stuff!
