Ja, es gibt wieder eine neue Verfilmung und Jim soll den Scrooge spielen!

Jim soll nicht "nur" den Scrooge spielen, sondern auch "the ghost of Christmas past, the ghost of Christmas present, and the ghost of Christmas future" (Quelle film.guardian.co.uk). Der Film soll eine Mischung aus Realfilm und Animation werden, viele Specialeffects eben. Es wird sogar von einer 3D-Präsentation gesprochen.
