An Israeli soldier on Thursday was celebrated in an American Jewish weekly as "the Terminator" after he shot and killed three Palestinians in nine days.

The Jewish Press ran an article on the soldier, known only as "Corporal T", under the headline “Meet the Terminator,” referring to the cyborg of the Hollywood film franchise.

1,200 Palestinians arrested in October

The Palestinian prisoner rights group Addameer reports that Israeli forces arrested 1,196 Palestinians in the month of October in an attempt to quell the current Palestinian resistance against Israel's occupation. Of these, 177 were children and 16 were women.

72 Palestinians were also killed by Israeli forces and civilians during October.

A Palestinian Bedouin member of Knesset on Wednesday said Israel’s holding of Palestinian bodies was “immoral and inhuman,” as the Israeli government continued to grapple with the legitimacy of the policy.

”As usual, every immoral act is accompanied by a security-related explanation, but what is the explanation for this act?” MK Talab Abu Arar of the Joint List asked during a Knesset meeting, according to a Knesset press release.

Israel is holding the bodies of 22 Palestinians who were shot dead following their alleged involvement in attacks on Israeli military and civilians during October.

A young Palestinian woman was detained after Israeli forces raided her home in al-Tur village in occupied East Jerusalem, locals said.

Tamara Muammar Abu Laban was taken to a police station for interrogation without the police informing her family of the reason of the arrest, her uncle Khalid told Ma'an.

Abu Laban was arrested shortly after Israeli forces carried out a raid in the neighborhood, injuring eighth grade student Ibrahim al-Salayma with shrapnel when a stun grenade landed in the local school yard.

Seperately in Jabal al-Mukkabir, Israeli bulldozers demolished a room in a Palestinian home that was built without a permit.

Israeli news site pulls children's game 'Neutralize the Terrorist'

An Israeli news site on Thursday removed a game inviting players to help Israeli security forces “neutralize terrorists” shortly after it appeared on the site’s main children's section, calling the game a “mistake.”

News site Arutz Sheva (Channel 7) posted the game, wherein players “assist security forces in neutralizing the terrorists that are attacking us.”

The site pulled the game -- entitled “Neutralize the Terrorist” -- from the main page after media criticism, according to Israeli news site the Jerusalem Post.

The game offered a choice of three weapons with which to either kill or beat the “terrorist,” who is brandishing guns, Molotov cocktails, and a knife.

Palestinian parents told to keep children away from knives

Jerusalem’s educational authority has sent out a letter to Palestinian parents of students in East Jerusalem asking them to keep their children away from knives and inform them of the “finality of death”.

The letter, distributed in East Jerusalem on Monday and Tuesday to around 20,000 parents, called on parents to look for "out of the ordinary behaviour which raises concerns the child may cause harm to themselves or someone else” and to prevent their children gaining access to "dangerous objects such as knives".

"Children have a hard time understanding and interpreting events and messages they are exposed to, and adults have the central role in mediating these for them, and helping them understand them properly, and not to be drawn in by rumours and distorted information,” read the letter.

The ‘non-lethal’ chemical weapon killing Palestinians

On Thursday evening Israeli forces stormed Aida refugee camp in the southern occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem. Jeeps descended on the camp from all entrances shooting off tear gas rounds indiscriminately, Akkram Huessni, a young man from the camp told Mondoweiss.

Families rushed to close their windows, shoving cloth in any crevice that could allow the noxious gas to seep in, a well practiced drill in homes across the occupied West Bank.
