The Aftershow Ltd is teaming up with the people behind the most uccessful and longest running clubnight in Manchester.... Funkademia and we are going to create one massive party. To make room for this massive change we have changed the door times to 7pm till 4am. After all the bands have finished we intend to turn Moho Live into the biggest Friday night party in Manchester.
Good For The Soul will feature Djs from Funkademia and Rock and roll Bar clubnights. Playing their unique and adored mix of classics from the 60s to present day floor fillers. We are raising the bar. Manchesters own indoor indie festival now ends with one big fuck off party.

James Walsh is the frontman to the critically acclaimed Starsailor; who have sold more than 3 million albums since their 2001 debut album Love Is Here. Since then they have grown a legion of fans through their amazing live performances. In the last two years Starsailor have toured the world supporting the Rolling Stones, The Police, U2 and The Killers. James has recently started working on his own solo material and excited to be back in the studio writing and playing shows across the UK...this is a rare chance to see him in such intimate surroundings.
NME Darlings Seal Cub Clubbing Club whose super Science Fiction album was in all the polls in 2009 with it's blend of Beta Band meets Elbow meets Sigour Ros through a glitterball of northern energy. Before that The Aftershow joins up with Invention for some of the best bands Manchester has to offer in both rooms. Sly Digs, Endeavours, The Chaddock Level, Aint No Saints, Four Minute Mile, Christopher Eatough, Wallgate Circus, The Reckoner, Save The Mastersound, The Vanguards. As well as residents Martin McGhee and Sean Holland playing all the best indie and beyond.
And After all that "Good For The Soul" massive launch party till 4am. This will be rammed so get down early. All this for a fiver!!!! Still a fiver!!! The Bars been raised. Dont miss this!!! Whose in??

James Starsailor: Solo und busy in Zermatt
Zermatt hostet Anfang April das einzige "Unplugged" Festival der Schweiz. Starsailor Frontmann James Walsh kehrt nach dem Auftritt der Band 2007 am 15. April 2010 exklusiv Solo zurück in die Walliser Alpen.
Während seine Band Starsailor Pause auf unbestimmt einlegt, bleibt Sänger und Gitarrist James Walsh pretty busy. Nach Abschluss der Arbeiten am Soundtrack zum Film Powder, wo Walsh dem singenden Hauptcharakter seine Stimme leiht, tingelt er für vereinzelte Solo-Shows um die Welt. Nach einem Abstecher nach Norwegen und Dänemark wird Walsh nun also erneut in Zermatt auftreten. Solo und unplugged auf der Bühne wird Walsh die grössten Hits von Starsailor, aber auch noch unveröffentlichte Solo-Songs spielen.
Neben James Walsh spielen in Zermatt weitere Weltstars wie Lionel Ritchie, Billy Idol, Jason Mraz und Milow ihre Songs unplugged am Fusse des Matterhorns.
