Please provide me a quote for the supply of a 6 Tone Electric chain hoist with vertical and horizontal movements. In 2018 I was given a quote for a 10 Tone hoist but we had to abandon it.

Please quote your best price on CIF Colombo basis for 1 unit of 6 Tone Electric chain hoist.

This is the electric chain hoist inquiry sent to us by an old friend from Sri Lanka on February 14, 2020. He has new electric hoist needs. In 2018, we established a contact and quoted him the price of a 10t electric chain hoist with 6m lifting height used on a overhead crane, but for some reason, they finally gave up the purchase.

However, for electric chain hoist, lifting capacity is standard with 500kg, 1ton, 2ton, 3ton, 5ton, 7.5ton, 10ton, etc. For 6ton capacity, we would quote 7.5ton for him. After confirmation, we knew all the electric chain hoist requirements as below:

7.5ton electric chain hoist
Lifting height: 6m
Voltage: 400V 3Phase 50Hz
Traveling type: equipped with electric trolley
Control: pendant control
So, we sent him the CIF Colombo port price (including the shipping freight). A week later, the customer replied that they are planning their work and the lifting height of the electric chain hoist needs to be adjusted to 8m. No problem. We revised the electric chain hoist CIF price within 20 minutes when we received the customer’s reply.

The sea shipping time from China port to Colombo port takes about 12 days. The customer confirmed the shipping time and made a payment.
